On Tuesday 7th May 2024 we arrived at school to find one of our seven eggs had started "pipping" inside the incubator. At approximately 10:45am, our first chick arrived. The children had been observing the eggs throughout the day and were so excited to see beaks appear through the pipping in the eggs. The children were amazed to hear cheeping from the chicks. At the end of the school day, we were the lucky "parents" of three baby chicks! We will have to wait and see if any more arrive tomorrow ...
