As today is officially Chinese New Year, we linked our clay work to the year of the snake and the children all designed and made their own snake. This was the first time the children had used clay in school. The children listened to their instructions and how they needed to get started with their piece of clay. The children worked really hard at rolling it. The children thought carefully about which tools they were going to use to create the pattern they required.
