Over the last few weeks, the children have been working hard to develop their reading fluency. This week's 'Reading Club' text was 'Hilda: The hen who wouldn't give up' by Jill Tomlinson. The children used their developing use of expression and fluency to echo read the text, read the text to their partner before their performance piece. The emotional expression they delivered whilst reading about Hilda's near escape in the dustbin lorry was wonderful to hear. Well done to you all!
