These two children decided they wanted to create a working windmill. They selected the mobilo and created their windmill with a moving sail. The children compared their windmills and used language to describe their models, "I have made mine wider at the bottom", "my windmill is taller". 

The children tried blowing at their sail to see if they could get it moving without turning it with their fingers. Unfortunately, this didn't work. The children then decided to take it outside to see if the wind would make it work, but the wind wasn't blowing today. The models are still in our class to see if it's windy tomorrow. 

The children have been creative with their windmills, and they started to get taller and one even had two sails.
