We began by looking at the photograph of 'Winter'. We linked it to last week, and what was put out on our playground when it was covered in ice to stop us from slipping? We talked about ice, frost, freezing and melting. 

We then talked about snow and how it would make us feel. We then thought about rolling a snowball practically on the carpet and putting it together to make a snowman. We then talked about the sun coming out and our snowmen melting.
