British Values and Protected Characteristics at The John Harrox Primary School

The Department for Education expect all schools to promote the fundamental British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.”  In addition, we promote the nine Protected Characteristics as laid down in law. These are taught explicitly as part of our PSHE curriculum as well as being embedded within our school 5C values and daily school life.
